Woodland Garden

A new house build, the client asked me to design gardens to make the house feel tucked in and a part of the surrounding forested landscape. I wanted to keep a native woodland theme by planting hemlock, tiarella, ferns, honeysuckle, echinacea and cimicifuga. To add color and attract the local birds, bees and insects I added some bee balm, aster, strawberries and raspberries. A mostly shady garden, it is currently thriving with life and color!
